Many fetish artists don't really go into detail why they decided to draw what they draw. Most just give answers like, "because I like it". You never really get a back-story. So, what I'm going to do is give an in-depth reason that may shed a little light on this.
I guess I can start back when I was a young boy. Being the youngest of the bunch, mom was always around me. My mother is kind of a plushy woman, and every time we hugged, she always felt so warm. That could be a reason. Every time I see a large woman, it could remind me of my mother's embrace.
Heading into middle school, the worst years of my life (I went through an emo stage.), that fetish combined with a few others. This was also the time when I had discovered DA for the first time (I found it because someone on Gaia Online linked some Code Lyoko avatars to It.), Back then, I had a habit of printing the pictures, and keeping them in a folder. This is where the story gets bad. Some people ended going up into my backpack, found the folder, and looked through it. It almost gave me a heart attack. Luckily, my classmates have the attention span of a gnat, so they forgot the next day. However, I learned that something like this wasn't meant for the public, so I hid it away again.
Half way through middle school, I re-learned how to draw (I had taught myself in elementary school, but forgot later on.). It was basic anime doodles, nothing out of the ordinary… until I got home…. There, I would attempt to draw fetish pictures, like the ones I saw before. I started with pregnancy. I didn't go all out of proportion like I do now, but I was still in training. I looked at my favorite main DA artists for inspiration:  Axel-Rosered, Blue Leader, Saburo X, etc.
It wasn't until my late 2nd year, that I started posting on DA. Being a perfectionist, I had a fear of judgment. I was afraid of criticism, and just kept lurking. During the summer, I posted a picture of my OC, Krystal. This (if memory serves me right) was the first hourglass pic I had done. When I started getting good reviews, I was ecstatic. So, I drew more and more, eventually letting the Lunar Legends gang take over. I got praise, and was told to keep it up. Around this time, I had gotten my first commission, and from a very popular person to! With these connections, I was on my way to what I am today.
Going over what I said, I think that may also be a reason I draw: To please the crowd. I know it's not a good reason, but growing up, I didn't get the praise I craved for.  When I posted, and got praise, it made life a little more bearable. I think I can even say you guys helped avoid suicide. *weak laugh, then sigh*
A topic I avoided was my choice of girlfriend. Anybody remember the pictures I drew of a white girl with hazel hair and eyes? Well, that was my 9th grade ex. I didn't plan on this, but most of my girls had some sort of pudge. That girl had, "dat ass", "dem boobies", and "dat belleh" all in one, and so did the girl before her. Although my girls were like this, sex wasn't a main motive; I just wanted a companion in life. Someone I can give this excess love to…. I'm going too deep, I apologize.
So, now I'm in high school. I draw fat, pregnancy, vore, giantess, and more. I'm looking for new types to mess with as well (I think Fuze got me into the diaper fetish…damn you….). I still get the love I like, and I enjoy what I do. You may have people dislike what you do, but in the end, it's all about you.
